Wellbeing Champions
Congratulations also to our new Wellbeing Champions, Jasper and Abigail who will be joining Isabel and Iris this year. The children wrote successful applications explaining why they would be effective in the role. Our Champions will attend their first training at Viney Hill Centre soon which they are all very excited about!
The Wellbeing Champions are made up of Year 5 and 6 children
The role of the Wellbeing Champions is to promote resilience, friendship, improve communication and build upon teamwork skills, to encourage a healthy positive mindset across the school.
Our regular Mindful Monday sessions encourage communication, positive relationships, problem solving, turn taking and a sense of community across the school, the children thrive from working as a team!
Please take the time to look at our Pupils voice, 100% of our children shared that they felt safe in school.
